Alan Pakaln is a clinical engineer with experience managing clinical engineering services in hospitals. He was drawn to this project through an interest in intentional community designs such as cohousing. Alan has written articles addressing the challenges and opportunities facing communities in the modern world. His work has appeared in Biomedical Instrumentation & Technology, Communities Magazine, Public Libraries Magazine, and Permaculture Design.
